Mr Marcelo Martin’s is the Vice Chairman to the Board of Trustees of the New Covenant Cherubim & Seraphim Church. He holds a BA in Shipping Mgmt. with a Pg. DMS and MBA in Humanities. He also holds a further NCFE qualification in Team Leadership and Lectures in English. He currently works for Virgin Train East Coast in their Learning Resource Centre.

Mrs Esther Noah, is Secretary to the Board of Trustees. Esther holds a Certificate in Personnel and Development and Diplomas in Health & Social Care as well as Christian Ministry. She currently works as a Housing Manager in a Sheltered Home, where she has served for over ten years.  Esther is married with children.

Miss Debbie Shobo, is a member of the Board of Trustees and acts as the Youth liaison for New Covenant Church charity. Debbie has been a Social Therapist in Mental ill Health for the last 3 years working in Psychiatric acute and Intensive care units. Debbie has a Bachelor Degree in Psychology and has professionally trained in counselling with a Spiritual, Religious and Cultural slant. Debbie continues to study for an MA in Dramatherapy, to compliment her current role as a Social Therapist for the NHS.

Mr Dennis Ayerume, is the current Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Dennis is a retired CEO of Union Bank UK plc. He is an FCIB, ACA and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos in Nigeria. He is also a MNIM (Member Nigerian Institute of Management). He has personnel, investment and project management skills.

                

Mrs Ibironke Adeagbo FCA FCCA is the Chief Financial Officer of the church and a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years post qualification experience. She has over 20 years experience of working in the charitable sector as executive and non executive director. She was formally the Finance director of YMCA, In kind direct and Crossways sixth form college. She is currently Non executive director/Trustee of British Safety council and formerly at Turning Point and Gallions Housing Association. She was a member of the Probity and conduct panel of the London Borough of Greenwich. She has been a college governor of Greenwich Community college and St Pauls Academy in London. Currently works as Financial controller in the public sector. She is married with children.

Mr Jide Olagundoye is a member of the Board of Trustees for the New Covenant Church. He is a professionally qualified Change Manager with about 20 years experience of delivering various Programmes/Projects in the public sector. He has worked in Central and Local government as well as the Housing sector and was a member of East Homes Board of Trustees for 6 years. He has a Masters of Science degree from City University as well as a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance. He also holds a Diploma in Ministry and currently works as Service Transformation Manager with a joint venture between Integrated Pathology Partnerships and NHS Trusts at Southend and Basildon.

Mrs Mary Faniyi-Afriyie is a member of the Board of Trustees New Covenant. She has over 18 years experience in Social Housing within Charitable organisation and Housing Associations.  As well as over ten years of experience in Social Research work, she is an energetic and ambitious individual who has developed a matured and responsible approach to effective delivery for the Church Board.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Sciences and a Postgraduate degree in Computer Sciences. She is a Member of the Institute of Bankers (AIB) and has a Diploma in Ministry of Theology.

Pastor Alfred Jegede is a member of the Board of Trustees to the New Covenant Church. Pastor Jegede has been leader of the Church since it’s inception in 2000. He is a fully trained Minister graduating from Oak Hill College with a Certificate of Higher Education in Theology. Pastor Jegede has over 30 years experience in Church Management and leadership. Pastor Jegede is married with both children and grand-children
